Luke Fox of Sportsnet: Rating the highest 12 unrestricted NHL free agents and a few notes about them.
1. Alex Tuch – Buffalo Sabres – The cap room to re-sign, and so they can’t really afford to lose him for nothing. The Sabres haven’t moved removed from $8 million, and Tuch is probably going in search of a $10-plus.
2. Rasmus Andersson – Vegas Golden Knights – Most expect him to be prolonged. If he goes to market, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins had interest.
3. Darren Raddysh – Tampa Bay Lightning – The proper-handed defenseman is having some extent a game season. He might be in search of a deal like D partner J.J. Moser’s four-year at $6.75 million. David Pagnotta reported he’s trying to $6.75 million over eight years.
4. John Carlson – Anaheim Geese – He could resolve to retire. The Geese would really like to increase him.
5. Evgeni Malkin – Pittsburgh Penguins – Talks will occur after the season, and he’d prefer to retire a Penguin.
6. Charlie Coyle – Columbus Blue Jackets – Have the cap space to re-sign, and he’s having a bounce-back season under Rick Bowness. Will he wish to go for the largest payday?

10. Bobby McMann – Seattle Kraken – Would have liked to re-sign with the Maple Leafs, but traded him on the deadline. The Kraken will see how he matches the remainder of the season and if either side wish to extend.
