Known for his fierce competitiveness, sharp game sense, and fiery personality, Prince Narula has built a repute as considered one of reality TV’s most dominant players, winning multiple shows including Bigg Boss 9. Nevertheless, his recent stint on The 50 didn’t go as planned, as he did not make it to the highest 5. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Prince opened up about Mr Faisu, who emerged as the primary runner-up of the show. While he acknowledged Faisu’s strengths, Prince didn’t hold back in critiquing his gameplay, especially his reliance on alliances. Read on to know what Prince needed to say.
Prince Narula Calls Out Mr Faisu’s Game In The 50
Highlighting the difference between performance and strategy, Prince said, “Faisu is an excellent performer aur he shouldn’t be an excellent player. Maine Faisu ko bola bhi hai jis din fundamental tha ki fundamental chahta tha Faisu apni alliance banakar khelta. Woh Rajat ke under nahi khelta. Woh Rajat ke under khel ke mujhe na shine out hota nahi dikhai diya kyunki perform toh koi bhi kar sakta hai. Perform toh Hamid (Barkazi)ne bhi bahut accha kiya hai. Perform toh Shiwet ne bhi accha kiya hai. Theek hai?”
He then compared Faisu with other contestants, stressing that leadership matters if you end up seen as a senior figure. “Hamid is an excellent performer, har task phaad ke aata tha. Toh phir fundamental agar aapko unse senior dekhta hoon toh fundamental aapse yeh bhi chahta hoon ki agar aap Hamid se senior hain, 33 Million log aapko follow karte hain toh aap unki responsibility leke aaye ho. Aap dikhaoge ki Faisu kaun hai aur Faisu ke apne faisle hain. Ab mujhe woh cheezein gandi lagti thi jab yeh (Rajat) bol deta tha isko vote kar diyo. Accha yeh bachate hain, nahi yeh jo bachate hain Archana bachate hain. Yeh bachate isko bachate hain aur Faisu maan jaata tha. Faisu ko samajh nahi ho raha tha ki woh uska use ho raha hai. Theek hai na?” (sic)
Prince Narula Says, “Rajat Apne Aap Ko Bachane Ke Liye Faisu Ko Khaa Jata”
In line with Prince, Faisu’s biggest mistake was trusting the incorrect people. He said, “Woh aaj bhi cover kar rahe hain ek doosre ko ki hum bhai woh kar lenge. Agar 5-6 din ka show hota na toh yeh (Rajat) isko bhi khaa jaata. Faisu ko bhi khaa jaata apne ko bachane ke liye Rajat. Theek hai? Kyunki woh apne bhaiyon ko nahi chhoda jisne inko bhai bola, toh woh isko kahan chhodta. Theek hai na?” (sic)
He also identified how shifting friendships contained in the show were driven more by survival than loyalty. “Aur yeh abhi bahar aake bhi ek doosre ka support isliye kar rahe hain kyunki inki beizzati ho chuki hai, kyunki inhone apne aap ko ek doosre ke bhai bandhu mein bhi kha liya aur itne aapas mein dushman the (Love) Kataria aur Rajat dushman the, show ke liye dost ban gaye. Theek hai. Kataria aur Adnaan (Shaikh) dushman the, show ke liye dost ban gaye. Dost ban gaye, inko show mein rehne ke liye ek doosre ki dosti ki zarurat pad gayi.”
Prince then made it clear that a powerful player should have the opportunity to survive solo. “Agar aap acche player ho tumhe farq nahi padta tumhare against kaun hai. Foremost itna dum rakhta hoon ki agar mere against honge na, agar meri nahi banti, fundamental akela khelunga aur akela finale tak hi pahunch jaunga. Foremost dum rakhta hoon itna, par inmein nahi hai. Inko alliance bana ke khelna tha.”
Prince Narula On Aliances In The 50
He further analysed how the contestants could have played in a different way by forming smarter, smaller groups as a substitute of enormous, ineffective alliances. “Mujhe lagta hai ki agar Adnaan (Shaikh) aur inse dosti na bhi karte aur inke paas saat log the apne toh inki apni alliance ban sakti thi aur acche se khelte. Aur (Love) Kataria aur yeh apne paanch log the, inki bhi apni alliance ban sakti thi. Alag se yeh bhi khel sakte the. Matlab sabki alag-alag alliance ban sakti thi. Par inhone numbers ke liye 21 log kiye ki hamara haath bada ho jaaye aur phir bhi khud ko bacha nahi paaye.”
Despite their strategy, Prince believes the end result exposed their weaknesses. “Phir bhi end mein chaar reh gaye the. Aur uske baad bhi show walon ko unko power deni padi ki agar performance pe toh inse hum nikal nahi rahe the. Theek hai? Hum inko nikal rahe the. Agar woh power nahi aati toh inko pata tha hum Hamid aur hum sab milke perform karke inko bhi bahar nikal dete. Theek hai?”
He concluded with a pointy remark on missed opportunities. “Toh unko mauka diya gaya thaali mein rakh ke ki yeh lo inko bahar nikaal do. Kyunki agar aaj bhi tumhe yeh kuch dene ke baad bhi tum isko nahi nikaal paaye toh phir tumse bada moorkh koi nahi hai.”
In the long run, Prince Narula’s critique draws a transparent line between being a powerful performer and being a sensible player. While Faisu impressed together with his task performances, Prince believes the shortage of independent decision-making and over-reliance on alliances cost him the winning edge.
