An all-time great of girls’s MMA has not taken too kindly to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s recent remarks.
‘The Eagle’ is six years retired from mixed martial arts. Nurmagomedov beat Justin Gaethje in 2020 before hanging up his gloves.
He has remained a distinguished figure in the game through coaching the following generation of Dagestanis, and with that, his comments proceed to hold weight and gain traction.

Nurmagomedov described women as “weak” while explaining why he disagrees with females participating in MMA during a recent press conference held by the Sun Hills Development real estate company in Phuket, Thailand.
‘The Eagle’, who’s a devout Muslim, has shared that sentiment at various points throughout his profession in MMA and has received pushback from some notable names.
That features Valentina Shevchenko, and ‘Bullet’ was available again to call Nurmagomedov out for his take.
“Women are weak?! Tell that to my sister—an airline captain,” Shevchenko wrote on X.
“Or tell it to the ‘Night Witches’, the all-female bomber regiment of World War II, who dropped bombs under the quilt of darkness with their engines off, then landed in pitch blackness without landing lights. For this, they earned a fame for being elusive and deadly. Go ahead, tell them who’s stronger.
“All of it depends entirely on one’s upbringing. You’ll be able to just as easily raise a person to be a helpless milksop who’s incapable of doing anything. Martial arts represent a warrior tradition where there is no such thing as a distinction between man and woman. There is simply the Art itself.
