Rosenior has swapped between goalkeepers Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen, with neither suggesting they’re at the extent to be Chelsea’s long-term No. 1.

Centre-back has also been an issue position for the Blues and Shearer says it’s ‘baffling’ that those two areas have still not been addressed by Chelsea’s big-spending owners.

‘Chelsea are still looking for a top-class goalkeeper and a top-class centre-half,’ the England legend said on Premier League Productions.

‘I do know Cole Palmer is there but I ponder what they’re pondering once they see his form and his ability in the ultimate third to choose a pass.’

Chelsea enjoyed a promising start under Rosenior, who replaced Enzo Maresca within the Stamford Bridge hot-seat in January, but lost 4 games in a row before the international break.
