Bill Goldberg wrestled for the last time in 2025 when he suffered a loss to GUNTHER during an edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Important Event.
After the match, Goldberg gave a retirement speech, but WWE cut the printed, leaving Goldberg’s speech to be heard by just those in attendance.
WWE would later attempt to rectify the situation by including a video of Goldberg’s retirement speech, in full, on its YouTube channel.
During a recent meet-and-greet, Goldberg was asked about WWE cutting him off during what must have been an enormous moment for him.
Goldberg sarcastically claimed that it made him glad before sharing his true thoughts that WWE was showing him serious disrespect. He said,
“Yeah! What do you’re thinking that it did for me? It made me really glad. It shows a variety of disrespect.”
When asked if he thinks Triple H was behind the choice, Goldberg said it was likely, and when the fan said Triple H was a “jack***”, Goldberg agreed, adding “100%!”
