Royal Challengers Bengaluru star Phil Salt pulled off a शानदार one-handed catch to bring an end to Ishan Kishan’s explosive innings in the course of the IPL 2026 opener against SunRisers Hyderabad at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, March 28.

Kishan fell wanting a deserved century, scoring a blistering 80 off just 38 balls, including five sixes and eight fours. His dismissal helped RCB bring SRH all the way down to 155/6. The breakthrough got here within the sixteenth over of SRH’s innings when Abhinandan Singh delivered a full toss outside off.

Kishan tried to guide it with an open bat face, but ended up slicing it high within the air. The ball was heading wide of Salt, who sprinted and dived full stretch to his right, completing a shocking one-handed grab. The wicket also marked redemption for Abhinandan, who had been hit for a six on the previous ball.
