Taylor Frankie Paul Reveals Support from Mormon Wives Forged

Taylor Frankie Paul revealed which of her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives costars have been supportive during her “lowest” moment.

Taylor, 31, returned to Instagram on Sunday, March 29, to share a video of her practicing piano and wrote over the clip, “I used to be just fooling around and I discovered I kinda like this.”

“Learned this today for no reason.. I believe I even have an actual future in piano,” she added.

Her Mormon Wives costar Demi Engemann described the music as “so therapeutic” and asked her to perform “‘True Colours’ next,” seemingly in reference to Taylor’s recent domestic dispute with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper got emotional while discussing the drama surrounding her friend and costar Taylor Frankie Paul. “I don’t like to evaluate someone of their darkest moment. I don’t want to evaluate the person, I’ll judge the error,” Jessi said during her “Call Her Daddy” podcast interview, released on […]

“Thanks for checking in on me as much as you will have and for the wellness gift,” Taylor responded to Demi. “You and Jessi [Draper], I’ll always remember, didn’t leave my side at my lowest.”

Jessi has been embroiled in her own drama on account of her estranged husband Jordan Ngatikaura filing for divorce on March 19.

Earlier this month, Hulu paused production on Mormon Wives season 5 when explosive video from Taylor’s 2023 domestic violence arrest surfaced. (Taylor pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault charge in 2023 so other charges can be dropped.)

A spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department in Utah also confirmed to Us that there’s an open “domestic assault investigation” regarding an alleged incident with Taylor and Dakota from this past February. Police confirmed that “allegations have been made in each directions” and “contact was made with involved parties.”

Dakota, 33, has since reported a 3rd alleged domestic violence incident involving Taylor to Utah’s West Jordan Police Department. (The third alleged altercation took place in 2024.)

When video of the 2023 domestic dispute leaked, some content creators speculated that Taylor’s Mormon Wives costar Miranda McWhorter was chargeable for releasing the footage for the reason that reality stars have incessantly beefed on the Hulu show.

Miranda, 27, quickly shot down those rumors, writing via Instagram, “Haha the primary time i saw that video was the identical day you all did. none of us girls have ever been in possession of it or another evidence. my intent with my statement was to not shade taylor, but to easily address that I don’t support nor condone that behavior from either party.”

She added, “i’ve my theories on who leaked the video, but i can promise you it wasn’t any of the ladies [from Mormon Wives].”

Within the wake of the domestic violence controversy, ABC announced that it will not air Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette three days before it was purported to premiere.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we’ve got made the choice to not move forward with the brand new season of The Bachelorette right now, and our focus is on supporting the family,” an ABC spokesperson told Us on March 19.

Taylor’s rep responded by telling Us that very same day, “Taylor could be very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security. After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse in addition to threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to be sure that she and her children are shielded from any further harm.”

The Mormon Wives star personally broke her silence just a few days later to thank fans for sending her prayers.

“I’ll NEVER forget those with me during this time,” Taylor commented on content creator Ashley Clemons’ TikTok video denouncing “bullying” on March 23. “Thanks. Prayer is strictly what pulls us through, prayer is the one reason I’m still standing.”
