Eddie Hall is planning to hit the same weight to his MMA debut to fight Tommy Fury, whose career-high weight will pale as compared.

The 2017 World’s Strongest Man winner hit a career-low of 315lb for his boxing match with Hafthor Bjornsson in 2022. Three years later he faced Mariusz Pudzianowski in a KSW bout, which saw him tip the scales 20lb heavier and ultimately win with a vicious round one knockout.

Now, he returns to the ring for a Misfits Boxing show in Manchester on June 13 against Tommy Fury. The pair seemed to be friends for years, but a falling out with the boxer’s infamous dad John Fury has led to a match-up between the pair on the AO Arena.

Eddie Hall reveals massive weight disparity for Misfits Boxing fight with Tommy Fury

On tonight’s episode of The Ariel Helwani Show, Eddie Hall was asked about just how severe the load difference will probably be when the pair meet within the ring. Tommy Fury has tipped the scales as little as 178lb in his skilled profession and was planning to campaign at light-heavyweight in his younger days.

Now, the Love Island star and unbeaten boxer is well over 200lb and last competed at 208lb. Meanwhile, Hall once weighed in over 434lb when he was breaking deadlift records, and despite the aesthetics has actually trimmed down over 100lb with a view to fight.

Asked explicitly what the gap in weight could be, Hall replied: “I’m 157kg now, so just below 350lb. If I are available in at 335lb that will probably be my lowest, it’ll probably be 340lb… Truthfully, if he is available in at 210lb I’d be surprised. I believe 205lb to 210lb max.”

The pair made a YouTube video together back in April of 2023, just days after the boxer had scored his most famous victory over Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia. Back then, a Fury body shot left Hall in big trouble during a challenge, while a Hall punch to the arm caused similar damage.
