After Eddie Hall’s latest remarks, Francis Ngannou could have one other (much heavier) opponent ready and waiting after his first MMA fight since 2024.

The previous UFC heavyweight champion has competed only once in mixed martial arts since leaving the game’s leading promotion at first of 2023.

Ngannou beat Renan Ferreira in his PFL debut and didn’t appear within the organization again before being released earlier this 12 months.

It hasn’t taken long for ‘The Predator’ to land in a brand new home, with the Cameroonian set to fight at the primary MMA event on Netflix. And his opponent on that card, Philipe Lins, will not be the one man with Ngannou in his sights.

They’ll fight for five rounds before Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano face off on May 16. 💥

Eddie Hall names Francis Ngannou as a possible future MMA opponent

Ngannou’s MMA inactivity in recent times has seemingly been all the way down to an absence of opponent options. But one artificial a sudden U-turn last 12 months that put him in contention for a showdown with ‘The Predator’.

Eddie Hall, a former strongman who was crowned the World’s Strongest Man in 2017, has been raising eyebrows along with his exploits within the fight game.

After boxing ‘The Mountain’ from Game of Thrones, Hafthor Bjornsson, Hall won his MMA debut at KSW 105 last July by ending Mariusz Pudzianowski in only 30 seconds.

In his next fight, Hall will return to boxing against Tommy Fury. But that doesn’t mean the 38-year-old is finished within the cage.

“I wanna exit with a bang. Obviously, I’ll do boxing, but I actually love the MMA,” Hall said during a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show.

“There’s obviously people like Francis Ngannou who’re identical to the largest, scariest b—-ds on the planet… That’s what I’m searching for.

“I believe I’d just wanna go up against the largest, baddest person I can rise up against,” he added.

If it involves fruition, that fight could see the pair weight a combined 600 kilos.

While Ngannou weighed in above 250 kilos last day out, Hall is predicting he’ll weigh around 340 kilos for his match against Fury

Eddie Hall has already named his price to fight Francis Ngannou

After Hall’s KSW win, he was quick to shut down talk of a clash with the previous UFC champ by saying he’d “reasonably get f—ed up the a— by the devil than fight Francis Ngannou.”

But before 2025 was over, the Englishman had already modified his mind.

Last December, Hall named his price to fight Ngannou, revealing he would achieve this for just over $6 million during an interview on Rob Moore’s YouTube channel.

With the cash Jake Paul’s Most Worthwhile Promotion has offered the likes of Ronda Rousey, Nate Diaz, and Ngannou for the Netflix card on May 16, Hall’s figure might not be as outlandish because it once was.
