Reality shows like Splitsvilla X6 often blur the lines between emotional compatibility and physical performance, and for Ron Kariappa, that contrast became a defining a part of his journey. While the show demands each connection-building and high-intensity task performance, Ron believes his strengths lay in a single, not the opposite. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, he opened up about where things went mistaken in tasks, his equation with Asmita Adhikari, and whether Roadies contestants had a bonus. Read on to know what he needed to say.
Ron Kariappa REACTS To Being Tagged A ‘Bad Performer’ In Splitsvilla X6
Opening up about his performance on the show, Ron Kariappa admitted that he felt misplaced in physically demanding tasks. He said, “You already know what was very disappointing about it was that once I was on that show, I got here fully prepped for a dating reality show. I got here fully prepped for that, like when it got here to every little thing about noticing, taking good care of wo sab chemistry wali joh cheeze hoti hai, and compatibility wahi joh cheeze hoti hai. Those form of tasks I used to be doing bloody good at. I’m excellent in any respect these items.”
He further added, “When it got here to climbing up trees and jumping up here and going there, I’m bad at it, now what can I do? What can I do? If you all were jumping and running around, I used to be sitting with my IT book, sitting and studying. So that you all have had different lifestyles, Baba. Now I cannot come here and pretend to be something that I’m not, right? What is occurring is occurring, what shouldn’t be happening shouldn’t be happening.”
Ron Blames His Lack Of Coordination With Asmita Adhikari
Ron also identified that the dearth of coordination with Asmita Adhikari played a job of their underperformance. He explained, “But the first problem as to why I feel like we didn’t do this well within the task was also since it was lack of coordination and chemistry in between two people.”
Drawing a comparison, he added, “Because in the event you notice, I performed a task with Sandy and I did exceptionally well, it wasn’t a problem in any respect. How is it that suddenly I used to be a foul performer until then, after which with Sandy I did well, and after that wapas essential bad performer ban jaata hu?”
Ron Kariappa ADMITS Splitsvilla Makers Are Biased Towards Roadies Contestants
Addressing the continued debate around Roadies contestants getting more preference on the show, Ron acknowledged, “That’s going to occur, no? How do I say it, see, Roadies also comes under MTV; they’re each under the identical thing. So even in the event you say now you’re giving a bit more preference to someone who’s from Roadies, for instance Yogesh or Gullu, they’re guaranteed good performers.”
He continued, “Now if I’m running a show from a business perspective and if I do know she is sweet at something and also you should not good at something, and she or he has worked on a project with me before, I’ll give her more focus, no? After all, I’ll give her focus because I do know there’s a guarantee she’ll do well on the show.”
Ron further added, “Agar worst case scenario she starts doing bad, then I can shift the main target to you, right? So, us as recent individuals who come into the show, our job is only one thing: to be strong enough to take over that thing, dominate them, take over that focus on camera. Otherwise, in the event you leave it the best way it’s, they may all the time focus their attention on individuals who have done it before. Each of them are very strong kids, they’re excellent at performing. I’m sure dome session mein thoda baat bhi kar lenge, that’s what they’ve done.”
Ron Kariappa Reacts To If Roadies Contestants Have An Added Advantage On The Show
Finally, reacting as to whether Roadies contestants have an unfair advantage, Ron struck a balanced note. He said, “You’ll feel it’s unfair, but life is unfair, guys. You possibly can’t do much about it. Abhi woh logo ne woh mehnat bhi ki hai na, 40 din wo logg ne bhi shoot kiya hoga waha par. Kahi na kahi, once we were sitting at home and attempting to work out something, they were also busy putting in the trouble and things. So that they deserve it. They should be good; they should do well. Our job is simply to do pretty much as good as we are able to.”
Concluding his point, Ron said, “And once I went on that show, I realised that these are my strengths and these are my weaknesses. I got here out and did an evaluation of it; it’s quite simple, very groundwork, very basic. These persons are hyping it up and creating so many issues prefer it’s some big, big thing that’s happened—nothing. It’s a bunch of youngsters who’re quarrelling with one another, attempting to make it something that it shouldn’t be. And no person wants to just accept that because they’re all so busy just attempting to talk—talk, kisi ko sunna nahi hai.”
Ron Kariappa’s candid take reflects the twin reality of Splitsvilla X6, where emotional intelligence and physical strength don’t all the time align. He acknowledges his limitations. At the identical time, he highlights how chemistry, experience, and exposure shape performance. His perspective adds nuance to the continued debate around fairness on reality television.
