Ravindra Jadeja made a robust comeback with the ball for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings within the IPL 2026 match in Guwahati on March 30. The left-arm spinner dismissed Sarfaraz KhanLBW on just his second ball after which got Shivam Dube out as well.
Each wickets got here within the eighth over of CSK’s innings. Jadeja bowled a good-length delivery to Sarfaraz, who tried to play a sweep shot too early but missed it. The ball hit his body, and the umpire initially didn’t give him out. Jadeja convinced captain Riyan Parag to take a review, and replays showed the ball would have hit the center stump.
Jadeja celebrated the wicket with great energy. Later in the identical over, Jadeja bowled a flighted ball to Dube. He tried to hit it big but mistimed it, and Ravi Bishnoi took a simple catch at long-off. Jadeja got his revenge after Dube had earlier hit him for a six in that over.

Ravindra Jadeja was playing his first match against Chennai Super Kings after being traded to Rajasthan Royals before the IPL 2026 auction. The 37-year-old accepted a salary cut of ₹4 crore and joined RR for ₹14 crore. In exchange, the Royals sent Sanju Samson to the five-time champions.

Ravindra Jadeja took two quick wickets and put CSK under pressure of their IPL 2026 match against RR. Sarfaraz Khan scored 17 off 12 balls before getting out, while Shivam Dube managed just 6 off 4.
Aside from Jadeja, Nandre Burger and Jofra Archer also took two wickets each. Burger dismissed Sanju Samson for six after which got Ayush Mhatre out for a golden duck. Meanwhile, Archer removed captain Ruturaj Gaikwad for six and likewise picked up Noor Ahmad.
On the time of writing, CSK were struggling at 82/8 in 12.5 overs, with Jamie Overton and Matt Henry on the crease. CSK are missing MS Dhoni and Dewald Brevis as each are injured.
