Don Callis announced that Darby Allin will face Andrade El Idolo at Dynasty for a chance at MJF’s AEW World Championship.
Kenny Omega shall be difficult MJF for the title at Dynasty after securing primary contendership over Swerve Strickland. But that is to not say they’re the one two vying for the title held by MJF, with former challenger Brody King and fellow “Pillars” Jack Perry and Darby Allin also trying to find their shot at “The Devil.”
During Wednesday’s “AEW Dynamite” Allin got here out to call out the champion for his own opportunity, prompting Don Callis to then emerge alongside Andrade, Lance Archer, El Clon, and Hechicero, saying he had a message from MJF.
In keeping with Callis, MJF said that Allin could get his title shot if he can beat a selected member of Callis’ family on the upcoming pay-per-view. And, much to the surprise of himself, Andrade was picked to be that member.
.@TheDonCallis Family has a message from @The_MJF. If @DarbyAllin can beat a hand picked member of The Family, he’ll grant Darby a title shot!

This shall be the primary time Andrade and Allin face each other in singles motion for the reason that former has returned to AEW, and their altogether. Andrade beat Allin the primary time they met in 2022, after which they met in a Coffin match which Allin won. Andrade has also made it clear he wants a shot on the title, and hasn’t been too impressed with being forced to work with MJF.
