Willie Mack Denies He Refused To Sign Recent AEW Contract

Willie Mack is clearing up confusion surrounding his AEW contract status.

On Tuesday night, Mack took to social media with a frustrated message, writing, “When ya boy is about to turn out to be a homeless superhero since the booker doesn’t think he’s well worth the money. #WhereTheBestWrestle. It’s like for two years straight I’d call every week and ask if you happen to got anything for me? You signed right? You continue to getting paid right? I need to wrestle.”

It was later noted that Mack had been moved back to a “tier zero” agreement, essentially a per-appearance deal.

Meanwhile, Pwinsider claimed that his previous AEW contract had already expired and that he was offered a brand new deal, which he declined.

Mack quickly pushed back on that claim, responding, “When did I turn it down?” together with a GIF of Charlie Murphy saying, “Flawed.”
