Backstage Details On WWE Adding Seth Rollins Vs. GUNTHER To WrestleMania 42

On the newest episode of “Raw”, GUNTHER made a surprise return…to attack Seth Rollins. Rollins has been in a feud with The Vision and Paul Heyman since he returned at Elimination Chamber. Moments before being attacked by GUNTHER, Rollins had attacked Heyman with a chair and connected with a Curb Stomp. Later within the episode, Adam Pearce announced Rollins was not only cleared, but could be facing GUNTHER at WrestleMania 42.

On Wednesday, Dave Meltzer reported that the plan for Rollins vs. GUNTHER had been the plan “for weeks” because Bronson Reed’s injury opened the door because “certainly one of The Vision guys was going to face Seth.” Nonetheless a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select says that the match was finalized the week before the March 30 episode of “Raw”. They further reported that the match was not a unanimous creative decision. Some desired to wrap up the story with Rollins and The Vision, but others wanted GUNTHER on the cardboard. In response to the report, Heyman won’t be in GUNTHER’s corner for the match.

Bron Breakker was on the Performance Center last week in an try to be cleared. Meltzer stated on the identical episode of Wrestling Observer Live that Breakker has been cleared. WWE feels the story with Breakker and Rollins could possibly be an enormous program and didn’t need to rush it. Meltzer is unsure once they’ll have a match.
