DaBaby doesn’t play about his babies! Over the weekend, a video surfaced of the rapper approaching a Dallas nightclub during his ‘Be More Grateful’ tour. He stopped to glance at a portrait of his daughters, then walked away without accepting it or acknowledging the artist, Bruce White Jr. (@bwhitecreations). That moment sparked a lot conversation that the rapper ultimately addressed it, saying he’s not impressed with “grown men” doing anything related to his daughters. Then, Baby circled to the artist’s comment section to drop strong warnings about continuing to post the portrait.

DaBaby Explains Why He Rejected Painting Of His Daughters, Sends “Father First” Warnings
After the web flooded DaBaby with mentions of the fan’s painting, he hopped on video to share his energy behind the rejection. He said the subject was beginning to work his nerves, and explained the variety of father he’s and isn’t.
“…I’m not into grown a*s men discussing my daughters, painting pictures of my daughters, taking pictures of my kids. I don’t play like that. In the event you play like that, to every its own. Send that n***a an image of your daughters, let that n***a paint them after which show him some appreciation.”
Moreover, Baby clarified that he wouldn’t accept a painting of his kids outside a nightclub. Moreover, he said if anyone is concerned by how he protects his kids, that’s not his concern.
DaBaby’s video appears to be a direct response to Bruce’s POV video, which is not any longer on his Instagram page. Nevertheless, the POV clip (swipe below to see) shows Bruce with the painting in his house, saying he doesn’t understand what was “fallacious” with it. The primary video that went around got here from a separate user, @shottbymatti, who shared the footage on
“You continue to got my daughters on yo page as a grown ma after I made it clear I ain’t comfortable with that. Regular playing for this online attention. So when God put me back in front of you ima show you the way serious I’m about my daughters,” DaBaby wrote. “Best advice I can offer you, get my children off yo page & keep doing what you gifted at doing. Using my kids ain’t the path to go in case you wanna go viral, that’s the path to go in case you wanna get hurt. This a father talking, not a rapper.”
Artist Sets The Record Straight
Sometime on Sunday (April 5), the content featuring DaBaby’s daughters was faraway from @bwhitecreations’ IG page. Also, Bruce (B. White) shared a video clearing the air, sharing his perspective of the portrait. He explained that he moved to Dallas about three years ago to pursue art. One among his industry peers really helpful he feature celebs’ family members in his artwork to be more attention-grabbing. That’s been his style for the last two years or so, Bruce explained.
Painting an image for DaBaby was a final minute call, per Bruce. Also, his connects had allegedly already arrange the artwork to be gifted. So when the rapper appeared “indifferent” to the painting in person, the artist said he was confused and even waited for a second opportunity to gift it after the show. He said although nobody was rude to him, everyone, including Baby were ignoring him when he approached the rapper at his vehicle. Afterward, Bruce’s connect told him that DaBaby didn’t just like the painting. The artist explained in his video that he was upset about his time being wasted over the rest. “I didn’t even know the n***a was mad,” the artist said. He said DaBaby messaged him privately, sending him the rejection video that another person edited with sad music.
“I used to be just doing my job, attempting to make a n***a have some hospitality when…are available in town. Though you ain’t ask for the sh*t…that’s how I used to be taking a look at it,” Bruce said.
“For me to get dissed by you and for a n***a to record me to embarrass me and sh*t…after which so that you can attempt to put the P jacket on me like I’m a weirdo and sh*t that’s crazy as f**k. Off a painting! That’s crazy as hell cause nothing in my life, in my page, in my character, in my aura reflects that. I’m a toddler of God.”
The artist added that he needed to wrap his mind around how DaBaby could’ve even felt disrespected by the gesture. “I’m like a lil’ booger you ‘ppose to flick. Like how the f**k you nervous about me? Like I said, if I offended you, DaBaby, like bruh I apologize. This sh*t wasn’t none of my intention cuz.” Bruce also clarified that the interaction happened the week before last and he didn’t even say anything when it did. He thought Baby didn’t just like the image and that’s why he posted it, not in search of clout. “They ain’t know me before you probably did this sh*t. You the one which made this thing an entire thing,” Bruce said, directing his comment to Baby.
Rapper Reacts To Artist Clearing The Air
A number of hours after Bruce shared his message, DaBaby hopped within the comment section. He ultimately thanked him for complying together with his removal request. Nevertheless, he also clarified his energy and shared his disagreement with among the video.
“I see the image finally down that’s all I wanted my boy, it’s all good. I do know first hand how judgement can get clouded when that focus come pouring in, so I appreciate you for straightening that shit out. I just wanted my babies off the page & detached from anything negative. Every thing else niggas talking bout for the birds! I ain’t think you meant no harm in painting the image, I just ain’t like how the viral moment led you to consider it was cool to double back and post them in your page feeding into the situation after I reached out privately to the nigga that walked you over to me and I commented and told you the way I felt & asked you to take it down & you didn’t. I ain’t got no sick will for ya bruh I’m just serious bout my lil girls and I’d offer you & some other parent the identical respect with no hesitation. Ion like quite a lot of lil shit you said on this video but I understand you defending your character as it is best to, cause as you possibly can see this web don’t got no picks and chooses. So I’m responding with grace and understanding my n***a. Keep doing what you doing!”
