Eddie Hall and Tommy Fury’s whopping size difference was on full display today because the pair faced off for the primary time ahead of their June showdown.

2017 World’s Strongest Man winner Hall hasn’t boxed since 2022 when he suffered a call loss to strongman rival Hafthor Bjornsson in Dubai. Since then, he has turned to MMA where he last 12 months knocked out fellow strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski in a KSW fight.

Now, he’s returning to the ring for a heavyweight clash with Fury on Misfits Boxing’s first big event of the 12 months on the AO Arena in Manchester. And it is predicted that the pair may have as much as a 140lb weight difference for what appears to be becoming a grudge match.

Despite the proven fact that Eddie Hall appears to have more of a feud with John Fury than Tommy, the patriarch opted to not attend today’s proceedings. The once cordial duo traded verbal barbs on the Glaziers Hall in London, which was opened as much as the general public in addition to media.

Tommy Fury told Bloody Elbow before the face-off that he expects to fight at around 210lb, while Hall predicts he could get as little as 330lb. And while the pair are similar heights, the strongman’s massive muscle makes him almost twice the dimensions of Fury.

Hall branded ‘Big John’ a ‘p—-‘ for skipping the press conference, which was reportedly a results of an illness for the previous fighter. Fury defended his father, insisting that Hall would get the argument he was searching for when the pair clash on fight week in Manchester.

Hall used to weigh over 440lb with a view to compete in strongman competitions, but has trimmed down considerably with a view to fight. Nonetheless, he doesn’t subscribe to Hafthor Bjornsson’s idea of cutting as little as possible to boast a more slim physique.

The fight will happen over six rounds of two minutes. Each men will wear 12oz gloves and it would be an exhibition, not an official skilled bout.
