Pat McAfee Warned By Ex-WWE Star After Heel Turn

Pat McAfee has now turned heel on the Road to WWE WrestleMania 42. The commentator aligned forces with Randy Orton and attacked Cody Rhodes on last week’s SmackDown. During his promo segment, McAfee identified the poor rankings on SmackDown, blaming Rhodes for this example.

In a recent Twitter post, Dustin Rhodes put McAfee on notice after his brother, Cody, was attacked. The present AEW and former star wrote,

“I might rid the world of @PatMcAfeeShow. Kick him within the balls so hard. But alas, i’m #AEW4Life.”

McAfee Responds To Criticism After WWE SmackDown

The inclusion of McAfee within the Rhodes-Orton storyline didn’t sit well with wrestling fans on the web. They criticized the creative direction of the WWE and TKO’s decision.

In a recent episode of his “The Pat McAfee Show,” McAfee responded to fans. The WWE commentator said,

“Just know that we got some things cooking and also you’re going to need to be in Las Vegas. It’s going to be spectacular. It’s going to be special. And future wrestling generation fans can have to look back on the night that was in Las Vegas and say that was the moment that the GOAT saved the whole business. By becoming a 15-time world champion.”

“I used to be asking the wrestling fans this weekend, hey, did you thank Randy Orton yet for what he’s going to do at WrestleMania for the long run of wrestling? These IWC dips**** don’t know, that is for the nice of them. They don’t know what they’ve been missing, they don’t know what it’s speculated to seem like…now we changing.”

“The IWC should not the largest fans of what happened, they’re pretty upset about it. But they’re apart of the issue, they’re those that said ‘yeah that is what it’s speculated to be all these things,’ it’s like nah allow us to show you what it’s speculated to be. It’s an important pivotal moment within the history of the business.”
