Khamzat Chimaev mocks Arman Tsarukyan for facing influencers and small guys in wrestling side quest

Khamzat Chimaev has not been impressed by Arman Tsarukyan’s recent string of wrestling ‘side quests’.

UFC middleweight champion Chimaev is one in every of Tsarukyan’s closest friends and training partners, cornering him for his last outing against Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar. And as he has been training for his first title defense next month in California, he has reunited along with his pal.

Nonetheless, he isn’t enamoured with Tsarukyan’s impressive activity in grappling and wrestling contests while he awaits his UFC return.

Just this 12 months alone, the highest lightweight contender has defeated Georgio Poullas twice and dominated Lance Palmer in RAF Wrestling, in addition to choking the undefeated Muhammad Mokaev unconscious on Hype FC in submission grappling.

Khamzat Chimaev roasts Arman Tsarukyan in comical training video

While in California, each Khamzat Chimaev and Arman Tsarukyan have been figuring out on the famed Treigning Lab. And in a recent video, the pair were seen bickering in comical fashion on a phone call as the previous trained.

“Hey, sleeping machine where are you?” Chimaev will be seen asking Tsarukyan on a phone call, before telling him to “Return to Jake Paul’s gym” because he prefers influencers to what he calls “real wrestlers”.

The Treigning Lab garage is world famous for the intensive workouts that athletes undergo while there. And Chimaev joked that there’s “no more garage anymore” for Tsarukyan due to his selection of opponents and lifestyle.

After Tsarukyan replied that he “doesn’t need the garage” because “no one has beaten my record”, Chimaev noted that he used all that work simply to “go wrestle with the small guys”. He even joked that flyweight Muhammad Mokaev, who Tsarukyan choked out, was just 40kg or 88lb.

The lightweight contender appeared to be caught by that, replying “I do know” but insisting that it was influencers and smaller fighters who desired to face him. Chimaev then joked that there was a 50kg weight difference between Tsarukyan and Mokaev.
