David Carle isn’t in any rush to go away Denver and return to the NHL

Joe Smith of The Athletic: David Carle spoke with the Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Geese last offseason a couple of head coaching position, nevertheless it left him feeling “there’s zero reason to go away Denver within the near term — if ever.”

Carle’s back within the Frozen 4 with Denver and his name will likely come up again this offseason. He said that feelings haven’t modified and things are “establishment.”

“I’m no more close-minded, no more open-minded to it,” Carle said. “There’s no rush to go away here.”

The trade talk was legit, but were the St. Louis Blues also attempting to light a hearth under Robert Thomas?

Sportsnet: Elliotte Friedman, on 32 Thoughts: The Podcast – The Easter Exit episode on St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas scoring a hat trick on Saturday and the trade deadline speculation.

Friedman: “You understand, I used to be watching that, and I’m considering to myself, how are you going to trade this guy?”

Kyle Bukauskas: “I used to be considering the identical. I’m like, Really? That is the guy they’re taking a look at trading.”

Friedman: “The more I, the more I have a look at that, and I do think they thought of it prefer it was legit. As he has said, they never got here to him.

But I do think they looked into it, was serious. The more I watch it now, the more I feel they only wish to light a hearth under the guy.”

Bukauskas: “It’s it might fit their history.”

Friedman: “MO, yes.”

Bukauskas: “Yeah. I mean, whether that did it or not, he’s playing great straight away.”

Friedman: “Yeah, I watched Thomas, and I used to be, I used to be considering, I’ve thought that a bit, that they wanted it known, that they were talking about him.

And I feel they, to me, the most probably team was all the time Utah. They usually felt that, I feel at the tip, they felt that Utah wouldn’t put (Caleb) Desnoyers or (Tij) Iginla in it, they usually weren’t doing it without not less than one in every of them.

But I don’t think the blues were too unhappy for Thomas, to see if Thomas felt slightly uncomfortable with it.”
