Pete Davidson appears to be fully embracing fatherhood and making major selections with that role on the front of his mind.
Since welcoming his daughter, Scottie Rose, with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, the “Bupkis” star has been open about how becoming a dad has modified him. Now, those changes are showing up in his priorities too.
In his latest move, Davidson has reportedly linked fatherhood to his decision to part together with his 2023 home.
Why Pete Davidson Is Moving Away From His ‘Paradise’ Home
After three years in his Westchester County retreat, which he purchased for $1.95 million, the “SNL” alum is able to move on.
The North Salem property, sitting on greater than six acres and featuring 4 bedrooms, three bathrooms, a gym, sauna, and scenic surroundings, is now available on the market for $2.28 million.
Davidson gushed in regards to the property and the environment, telling Mansion Global, “It’s literally like living in paradise.” He shared that North Salem felt peaceful and excellent in comparison with the noisy chaos of Recent York City life.
“I’d get up naturally, and I wouldn’t feel a thing; it was essentially the most special feeling,” Davidson said, adding that almost all people there minded their business and didn’t trouble him.
The comedian admitted he feels sad about leaving his “hip, funky cool place” where he made memories, including filming his podcast and learning he was about to change into a father. Nonetheless, he has his reasons for parting with the property.
His little girl, Scottie Rose, is the rationale behind Davidson’s decision to sell, as the space from his clan in Staten Island and Recent Jersey has made the commute difficult.
Pete Davidson Discovered His Fiercely Protective Dad Instinct

Davidson’s decision to step away from Recent York ties closely to the changes he has experienced since becoming a father.
Weeks ago, he opened up about traits he was discovering about himself, most notably a strong protective instinct toward his daughter. As The Blast reported, the 32-year-old admitted the sensation caught him off guard as he was able to throw blows for her sake.
He described the sensation as “primal,” a surprising change as he’s someone who avoids confrontation. Nonetheless, he had no qualms about fighting paparazzi who got too near Scottie Rose.
Davidson’s Girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, Gets Real About Motherhood

While Davidson has been vocal about his experience, Hewitt has been equally candid, even opening up about how she grappled with motherhood, breastfeeding, and challenges about her body.
In a February cover story, the model discussed her decision to not breastfeed, addressing the stigma surrounding formula feeding.
Per The Blast, she called the stigmatization a “quiet shame,” admitting that it took her time to confront it and learn for herself the “moral hierarchy” about breastfeeding.
The mom of 1 said she selected formula feeding, recalling her history of health challenges and the way she felt “disconnected from her body” for a very long time. She added that pregnancy took a toll on her, and ultimately, she prioritized her mental well-being and selected to take care of her child as she recovered.
Davidson and Hewitt Are Pondering of Having More Babies

As Davidson and Hewitt proceed to navigate parenthood, the experience has only deepened their desire to expand their family. Back in January, the couple shared that they’d love for his or her daughter, Scottie Rose, to grow up with a sibling.
Hewitt admitted the thought got here as a surprise, especially given how intense childbirth may be. “I didn’t think I’d already take into consideration having one other one,” she shared, in keeping with The Blast.
“The thought of that sounds absolutely insane straight away,” she added. “The technique of giving birth is so insane, but so empowering once it happens. Just having this little thing, I actually can’t explain how incredible the entire thing is.”
Elsie Hewitt Revealed Her Past Pregnancy Struggles

While Hewitt was pregnant, she didn’t hide her challenges, sharing raw insights at it.
Based on The Blast, in an update a month before her delivery, the 29-year-old disclosed she was in constant pain. “I’m in absolute agony just about 24/7,” she detailed.
She admitted that on some mornings, the pain was so severe she could barely walk. Despite trying multiple treatments, including acupuncture, exercise, and steroid injections, nothing appeared to bring relief.
