WWE Hall of Famer Triple H recently appeared on Cody Rhodes’ “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” podcast. Through the chat, Hunter opened up about Bobby Roode’s transition from a wrestler to a producer after his in-ring profession began to “wind down.”
Back in 2022, Roode suffered a neck injury, which led to his retirement from wrestling. Chatting with Rhodes, Triple H noted,
“Unfortunately, he had a neck injury that wasn’t subsiding. He and I spoke about it. I said, ‘Why don’t you are available in and begin learning to be an agent? And if the medical stuff clears up, it’d be great. It’ll help your profession. If it doesn’t, we’ll start using it,’ but, man, he jumped on it, and just in a short time I began moving him up the road after which having the conversation with Mike (Hayes) about, ‘Mentor him.’”
