President Donald Trump made his option to a UFC 327 match as Vice President JD Vance was announcing that the negotiations involving the war with Iran had failed.
In social media footage posted by the official UFC X account, it showed Trump making his grand entrance into the Miami event alongside UFC chief Dana White, and his children, Ivanka, Tiffany, and Donald Trump Jr. Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, was also in attendance. As Trump made his entrance a Kid Rock song was blared through the speakers because the president smiled widely and greeted fans, including popular podcaster Joe Rogan.

Concurrently, Vance shared that the U.S. and Iran couldn’t discover a middle ground within the negotiations.
“The bad news is that we’ve got not reached an agreement. And I feel that is bad news for Iran far more than it’s bad news for the U.S…. they’ve chosen not to just accept our terms,” Vance said at a press conference in Islamabad, before boarding Airforce Two.
Vance shared that what blocked the agreement was that Iran refuses to back down on nuclear development goals.
“We want to see an affirmative commitment that [Iran] won’t seek a nuclear weapon, and they’ll not seek the tools that may enable them to quickly achieve a nuclear weapon,” he said. “That’s the core goal of the president of the US, and that’s what we’ve tried to attain through these negotiations.”
Trump had been a fan of UFC for years and has often made appearances at matches across the nation. He plans to bring his fandom center stage in celebrating the milestone 250th anniversary of the US over the summer. He announced that in celebration of the U.S. (and in addition his eightieth birthday on June 14) the president will probably be hosting a fight event on the White House.
