Paddy Pimblett reacted to Josh Hokit’s UFC 327 win
White isn’t the just one who isn’t a fan of the 28-year-old’s schtick as fellow UFC star Paddy Pimblett admitted he wanted Blaydes to knock the controversial star out.
“I don’t think everyone has ever been so behind Curtis Blaydes, everyone wants Curtis Blaydes to win this fight, this Hokit is an absolute tool, it’s like WWE s— and it’s f—— annoying,” Pimblett said in a video on his YouTube channel.
“I just hope Curtis knocks his arse out, lad, but everyone knows Blaydes is a wrestler so it wouldn’t surprise me if he takes him down.”
‘The Baddy’ went on to react to the three-round war between the 2 heavyweights stating, “You don’t see heavyweight fights like this, it’s a scrap, give Hokit his due, he’s gaining plenty of respect here.”
“I’m gaining quite a little bit of respect for him here, lad, to be honest. This is unquestionably Fight of the Night,” Pimblett continued.

Thus far this 12 months, Pimblett’s UFC 324 principal event against Justin Gaethje is arguably the Fight of the Yr, nonetheless, Hokit and Blaydes’ three round war has likely overtaken it.
“Me being Fight of the Yr is in jeopardy here because that is an unbelievable fight… I didn’t expect this… Hokit is a lot better than I might’ve thought, much needed for the heavyweight division really.
“Hats off to him, I didn’t think he had that in him, well in Josh Hokit, you’ve just gained plenty of respect for me and I believe you could have from plenty of the MMA world.”
