1047 Games has listed its upcoming game, Empulse, on Steam, providing screenshots and game details for the title, said to be inspired by Titanfall and Call of Duty. It was only a number of days ago that it was revealed that 1047 Games CEO Ian Proulx had provided Insider Gaming with an exclusive video of Empulse and said more information can be made public soon. Well, it appears the sport’s Steam page is up, where a handful of screenshots have been provided together with other game details.
“EMPULSE is an upcoming fast-paced 6v6 movement shooter. Outmove and outgun your opponents across the post-utopian streets of Freehold. Fight for control of mechs to show the tide of battle on your Crew. “

The 6V6 movement shooter has players combating one another using fast-paced tactics involving wallrunning and Holojumps across various districts featuring different surfaces and layouts. From grappling hooks to mechs and P.A.I.N.T. bombs, players have an assortment of things to utilize of their combat strategies, together with the power to change surfaces to help themselves or hinder opponents.
“Every district in Freehold gives you the surfaces, the verticality, and the routes to chain together movement and find your flowstate.”

Player-controllable mechs spawn on maps and are ready to be used by players with heavy weapons and unique abilities. Teams may also decide to take down these mechs as well. As an internet multiplayer game, and given the screenshots revealed to this point, it’s unsurprising that really useful PC hardware requirements are fairly modest.
