Goldberg was never known for having the widest in-ring range. Like Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior, his status was built around explosive power, dominance, and a handful of signature moves. Outside of wrestling, though, Goldberg says versatility is something he takes seriously.
Speaking during an interview on the ‘Memphis in May’ barbecue World Championships, Goldberg explained why he believes showing different sides of yourself can create more opportunities. He said,
“You mostly have to have a look at the positives of each opportunity and um you prefer to you’ve got to point out range in your life, right? Since you’re more available to more opportunities. Not many individuals know I’m an animal lover. Not many individuals know I’m a cook. Not many individuals know I can work on my cars, but these are passions of mine that would possibly be a profession. And you recognize, you only put your attention towards you deal with something and you are attempting to be the very best at it.”
Goldberg recently added one other title to his resume after becoming CEO and spokesperson for Patriot Tactical, a move he says matches naturally together with his lifestyle as an outdoorsman. He said,
“The fact is that the further your range is, the more things that fall in between that range that you may accomplish and that you may do and you may put your effort towards like Patriot Tactical,” he said. “I’m trying to lift awareness for a corporation that, you recognize, years ago people may not have thought that I can be attached to, but I’m an outdoorsman and, you recognize, right away [my son] Gage and I are up for the potential of doing an out of doors show on Discovery Channel.”
