During a recent appearance on TMZ’s “Contained in the Ring” podcast, Skye Blue commented on working with Kyle Fletcher, meeting Jon Moxley, MJF being bald, and more.
You possibly can take a look at some highlights from the podcast below:
On Kyle Fletcher: “Biggest diva is likely to be Kyle, truthfully. He’s going to kill me for saying that though. No, he’s just a really large Australian man. So he doesn’t slot in seats thoroughly sometimes. He’s all the time getting his head on the overhead bins or something like that. But he’s not likely that b***h of a diva. He’s not, I promise.”
On the way it feels to work with Fletcher: “But I feel it’s the best thing ever because trying to clarify to any person that’s not in our industry, ‘Hey, that is my job.’ Nevertheless it’s not a job. It’s a life-style that all the pieces sort of revolves around it. It’s not a 9-to-5 where you clock out. We come home, and it’s like bedazzling gear, washing gear, doing meal prep. because we’re on diets due to what we wear within the ring, how we would like to look within the ring and present ourselves, watching wrestling, studying various things, going to the ring, trying things, and rolling around training. It’s not only a 9-to-5 where then you definately can turn your brain off, and also you’re done. I feel trying to clarify that to any person who isn’t in wrestling and doesn’t understand can be so mind-blowing and difficult for them to understand how much we love our job. It’s not only a job. It’s our dream. So having a partner that loves it that much, is in the identical field, cares about it the identical amount, and I get to travel with, I absolutely like it. I really like with the ability to pick his brain at work and with the ability to bounce ideas off of him. He’s helped me tremendously with my weight loss program and workouts. I feel probably the most confident in my body that I’ve ever felt in my life. He’s absolutely my rock. I absolutely love going to work with him. Some days, like on the travel days where you’ve got long travel days, you’re getting delayed, and it’s crazy. You’re like, ‘Yeah, it sucks, but not less than you’re not there by yourself. You’re there along with your best friend.’”
On meeting Jon Moxley: “I feel it was perhaps like a Comic-Con or it was something that me and my mom went to fulfill Moxley. There’s this photo and the web has seen it. I attempted to bury it and conceal it, but they found it. I actually have neon pink hair. My mom took me out of faculty in order that we are able to go meet Moxley. I remember I walked and I used to be terrified. I walked as much as him and was like, ‘I would like to be a wrestler in the future. I’m going to coach to be a wrestler in the future.’ I don’t remember exactly what he said, but he smiled. It was very quick. I used to be just so anxious the entire time. I remember walking away from that and I told my mom, ‘I’m going to work with him in the future.’ She was like, ‘Should you put your mind to it, I’m sure you possibly can.’ I had already proved how stubborn I used to be. I had began training. Now I work with the person. I can pick his brain about wrestling and I can get feedback from him. The opposite day I walked past him within the hallway, and he was like, ‘Good job, kid.’ … Little kid me was like screaming behind my brain. It was just like the little full circle thing that I used to be like, ‘Holy crap.’”
On if MJF would look good bald: “Well, if you happen to don’t look good with hair, I don’t think you’re going to look good without it.”
