Jennifer Lopez’s love don’t cost a thing, but a person have to be willing to place within the work to get her attention.
The Office Romance star, 56, was quizzed about her love life during a Monday, June 8, appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, revealing that she isn’t one for social media communication.
“Do you check your DMs, Jennifer?” host Andy Cohen asked her, to which Lopez emphatically replied, “No.”
Cohen, 58, pressed further, “What if some amazing Spanish soccer player DMs you?”
“I feel they might give you the option to search out me, no? Should you really wanted to search out me, you can find me,” Lopez shared.
Cohen responded, “[But] not through Instagram…”
Lopez said, “You’re not going to search out me through Instagram or sliding into my DMs. You have got to make more of an effort than that.”
The “Dance Again” singer has been single since her split from ex-husband Ben Affleck in 2024. The couple’s whirlwind romance first began in 2002 after they met on the set of the movie Gigli. They quickly got engaged but called off their September 2003 wedding just days before it was set to happen and eventually split up in January 2004.
Fast forward to 2021 and the exes reunited, marrying in Las Vegas in July 2022, followed by an intimate ceremony in Georgia in August that yr.
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck, 53, in August 2024, and the wedding was officially dissolved in January 2025.
During a May appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Lopez said she was completely satisfied flying solo in the intervening time.
“You’re single right away,” host Jimmy Kimmel noted, prompting Lopez to answer, “I’m. I must have done it sooner! I’ve been doing all of it mistaken. Trust me.”
“I’m not doing anything to destroy how I feel right away. It’s incredible. I find it irresistible,” she said of being single.
In March, the actress and singer reflected on her split from Affleck during an appearance on Good Morning America.
“I took a yr off,” Lopez said, explaining that she needed to “stop the whole lot” after the separation. “I canceled tours. I made a decision to only be home and sit in what had happened without running away from it through work, through one other person, through anything. Just sit.”
“I used to be just at a degree where I used to be like, ‘What is occurring with you?’” she continued. “I couldn’t blame anybody else because I don’t think that’s where the lesson is. And so, I actually needed to figure myself out.”
Lopez added, “I feel like for the primary time in my life, I’m free. I’m alone. It feels really good. I didn’t really know what that felt like since I used to be in my early 20s, and even before that I at all times had a boyfriend. There was at all times someone in my life and so many other things that I felt were out of my control. I’ve gotten to the purpose where I actually trust myself and appreciate myself a little bit bit more.”
