But she felt a pull toward profession coaching and wanted more structure and training around it.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2707\" data-end=\"2879\">She had taken a couple of of our other programs\u2014like <em data-start=\"2754\" data-end=\"2780\">Love Your Profession Formula<\/em> and <em data-start=\"2785\" data-end=\"2808\">Corporate Rescue Plan<\/em>\u2014and kept seeing Classy Profession Girl pop up in her late-night scrolls.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2881\" data-end=\"2918\">What finally convinced her to hitch?<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2920\" data-end=\"3248\">\n<li data-start=\"2920\" data-end=\"3002\">\n<p data-start=\"2922\" data-end=\"3002\">She wanted <strong data-start=\"2933\" data-end=\"2950\">formalization<\/strong> and tools around coaching, not only \u201cwinging it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3003\" data-end=\"3143\">\n<p data-start=\"3005\" data-end=\"3143\">The <strong data-start=\"3009\" data-end=\"3030\">accelerator track<\/strong>\u2014with the ability to complete this system in about three months\u2014as a substitute of letting it drag on for six to nine months.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3144\" data-end=\"3248\">\n<p data-start=\"3146\" data-end=\"3248\">A transparent <strong data-start=\"3154\" data-end=\"3176\">plan and framework<\/strong> she could follow as a substitute of piecing all the things together from scratch.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote data-start=\"3250\" data-end=\"3424\">\n<p data-start=\"3252\" data-end=\"3424\">\u201cI actually wanted the formalization of coaching and what that\u2019s all about. The accelerator part really resonated with me\u2014I loved that I could get it done in three months.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr data-start=\"3426\" data-end=\"3429\">\n<h2 data-start=\"3431\" data-end=\"3497\">The Biggest Challenges: Cost, Confidence &#038; a Tough Job Market<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3499\" data-end=\"3570\">Like many recent coaches, Tracee\u2019s biggest challenges at the beginning were:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3734\" data-end=\"3951\">Because she works with <strong data-start=\"3757\" data-end=\"3790\">job seekers with disabilities<\/strong>, she sees firsthand how hard it may be\u2014<em data-start=\"3830\" data-end=\"3835\">not<\/em> because candidates aren\u2019t qualified, but due to internal bias and barriers from people ready to rent.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3953\" data-end=\"3996\">At first, Tracee felt the load of that.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3998\" data-end=\"4027\">But then something shifted:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"4029\" data-end=\"4202\">\n<p data-start=\"4031\" data-end=\"4202\">She realized her primary job as a coach is to assist people <strong data-start=\"4089\" data-end=\"4109\">construct confidence<\/strong> and show up as strongly as possible\u2014while knowing some barriers are outside their control.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"4204\" data-end=\"4416\">Once she embraced that, she could stop attempting to \u201csolve all the things\u201d and as a substitute give attention to being <em data-start=\"4299\" data-end=\"4318\">one powerful tool<\/em> in her clients\u2019 support system. I didn\u2019t need to miss it. That kept me tethered and engaged all of the approach to the finish line.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr data-start=\"5610\" data-end=\"5613\">\n<h2 data-start=\"5615\" data-end=\"5677\">Practicing Coaching: The ten Hours That Modified All the pieces<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"5679\" data-end=\"5771\">As a part of Profession Coach Certification, Tracee accomplished <strong data-start=\"5735\" data-end=\"5768\">10 hours of practice coaching<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5773\" data-end=\"5957\">To line up clients, she posted on Facebook offering free coaching sessions. Vision Board Workshop with 60 Registrations<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"6748\" data-end=\"6829\">In January, she decided\u2014on the last minute\u2014to host a <strong data-start=\"6801\" data-end=\"6826\">Vision Board Workshop<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"6831\" data-end=\"6959\">\n<li data-start=\"6831\" data-end=\"6880\">\n<p data-start=\"6833\" data-end=\"6880\">She promoted it for nearly <strong data-start=\"6864\" data-end=\"6877\">two weeks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"6881\" data-end=\"6909\">\n<p data-start=\"6883\" data-end=\"6909\"><strong data-start=\"6883\" data-end=\"6907\">60 people signed up.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"6910\" data-end=\"6959\">\n<p data-start=\"6912\" data-end=\"6959\">The event was fun, interactive, and powerful.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"6961\" data-end=\"7121\">She had assumed vision boarding is likely to be \u201cover,\u201d but clearly, people still wanted to attach around their goals and dreams\u2014they usually wanted <em data-start=\"7100\" data-end=\"7105\">her<\/em> to guide them.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"7123\" data-end=\"7167\">2. Funnels, Freebies &#038; a Pivot Webinar<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"7169\" data-end=\"7267\">Working with John (yes, my husband!), Tracee has been constructing out <strong data-start=\"7236\" data-end=\"7247\">funnels<\/strong> for her business.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"7269\" data-end=\"7286\">Thus far she has:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"7288\" data-end=\"7538\">\n<li data-start=\"7288\" data-end=\"7350\">\n<p data-start=\"7290\" data-end=\"7350\">Created <strong data-start=\"7298\" data-end=\"7324\">4\u20135 different freebies<\/strong> for various audiences<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"7351\" data-end=\"7447\">\n<p data-start=\"7353\" data-end=\"7447\">Connected her vision board attendees right into a funnel for her upcoming <strong data-start=\"7421\" data-end=\"7445\">profession pivot webinar<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"7448\" data-end=\"7538\">\n<p data-start=\"7450\" data-end=\"7538\">Began to see how each workshop leads naturally into the <em data-start=\"7508\" data-end=\"7514\">next<\/em> step for her audience<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote data-start=\"7540\" data-end=\"7659\">\n<p data-start=\"7542\" data-end=\"7659\">\u201cI at all times worry about over-saturation, but people keep signing up. Mixing Productivity, Profession &#038; Writing Support<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"7719\" data-end=\"7766\">Tracee is now weaving her strengths together:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"7768\" data-end=\"7955\">\n<li data-start=\"7768\" data-end=\"7791\">\n<p data-start=\"7770\" data-end=\"7791\"><strong data-start=\"7770\" data-end=\"7789\">Profession coaching<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"7792\" data-end=\"7860\">\n<p data-start=\"7794\" data-end=\"7860\"><strong data-start=\"7794\" data-end=\"7819\">Productivity coaching<\/strong> (including her \u201csparkle time\u201d concept)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"7861\" data-end=\"7894\">\n<p data-start=\"7863\" data-end=\"7894\"><strong data-start=\"7863\" data-end=\"7892\">Writing and book coaching<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"7895\" data-end=\"7955\">\n<p data-start=\"7897\" data-end=\"7955\"><strong data-start=\"7897\" data-end=\"7923\">Retreats and workshops<\/strong> for writers and profession pivots<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"7957\" data-end=\"8136\">She\u2019s even hosting <strong data-start=\"7976\" data-end=\"7997\">author\u2019s retreats<\/strong> (she ran one in October and is planning one other this spring) to assist people reconnect with their writing and eventually finish their books.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"8138\" data-end=\"8141\">\n<h2 data-start=\"8143\" data-end=\"8191\">Tracee\u2019s Advice for Aspiring Profession Coaches<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"8193\" data-end=\"8349\">At the top of our interview, I asked Tracee what she would say to the girl who\u2019s <em data-start=\"8275\" data-end=\"8285\">pondering<\/em> about becoming a profession coach, but hasn\u2019t taken the leap yet.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"8351\" data-end=\"8385\">Here\u2019s her wisdom in a nutshell:<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"8387\" data-end=\"8439\">1. You Don\u2019t Should Wait for \u201cPerfect Timing\u201d<\/h3>\n<blockquote data-start=\"8441\" data-end=\"8534\">\n<p data-start=\"8443\" data-end=\"8534\">\u201cYou don\u2019t should wait for Monday morning or January 1st. You may select at any moment.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"8536\" data-end=\"8605\">There&#8217;s at all times one other Monday. One other January.
