Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong> is seemingly committed to \u201cjust keep swimming\u201d alongside her daughter Indy amid her most up-to-date domestic violence allegations and custody dispute.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust keep swimming\u2026 with some singing,\u201d Paul, 31, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Saturday, April 4, alongside a video showing the truth TV star singing within the shower \u2014 fully clothed \u2014 as her daughter, 8, danced in front of the lavatory mirror.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mini with sass,\u201d Paul wrote over the video, which was seemingly taken by her daughter via an iPhone. (Paul also shares Ocean, 5, along with her ex-husband Tate Paul<\/strong>, and Ever, 2, along with her ex boyfriend Dakota Mortensen<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

While The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> star received a good amount of criticism within the comments section for a way she was dancing in front of her daughter, loads of fans offered her praise and support amid her ongoing legal troubles with Mortensen.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Frankie Paul was seemingly in a position to laugh off her past arrest. \u201cTip: don\u2019t throw things, you may see police lights,\u201d Paul, 31, wrote over an August 2025 TikTok video of herself lip-synching to Rihanna\u2019s \u201cBreakin\u2019 Dishes\u201d about an unfaithful partner. \u201cI\u2019m breakin\u2019 dishes up in here, all night,\u201d the lyrics read. \u201cI ain\u2019t gon\u2019 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In keeping with a report from the Draper City Police Department in Utah obtained by Us Weekly<\/em>, authorities opened a domestic assault investigation into the previous couple on February 23. Mortensen accused Taylor of \u201cscratching\u201d him and physically assaulting him in the course of the alleged dispute.<\/p>\n

Mortensen later claimed within the report that there have been \u201ctwo incidents of physical assault involving \u2018grabbing, scratching, shoving, and striking\u2019 by the hands of Taylor. Per the identical report, authorities have opened a second investigation, which incorporates a further accusation of domestic violence within the presence of a baby. Draper PD told People<\/em> no charges have been filed.<\/p>\n

Taylor has denied the allegations, and alleged that Mortensen has been abusive towards her. He has also denied the allegations against him. In keeping with documents obtained by Us<\/em> on March 20, Mortensen was awarded temporary custody of Ever and a short lived protective order against Taylor amid the domestic violence allegations.<\/p>\n

Days later, video of a 2023 domestic dispute between Taylor and Mortensen surfaced, through which Taylor could possibly be seen physically assaulting and throwing chairs at Mortensen within the presence of her daughter. She was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence within the presence of a baby, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief.<\/p>\n

Taylor pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in exchange for the opposite charges to be dismissed.<\/p>\n

Hours after the video surfaced, ABC announced that Taylor\u2019s The Bachelorette<\/em> season was canceled ahead of its scheduled March 22 premiere.<\/p>\n
