Dana White has finally explained the explanation why he has no involvement in fight negotiations any more inside the UFC.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For years, the corporate CEO would get his hands dirty in talking to just about all fighters across levels as a way to get deals done. Nevertheless, White\u2019s day-to-day has modified drastically for the reason that 2016 sale to Endeavor and now he could be very much in additional of a figurehead position.<\/p>\n

Hunter Campbell, the UFC\u2019s Chief Business Officer, is now tasked with many of the heavy lifting in the case of fight negotiations. <\/p>\n

Why Dana White not negotiates with UFC fighters<\/h2>\n

It has been years since Dana White was actively involved in speaking directly with fighters about their contracts within the UFC. Now he’s more involved within the business end of the corporate and other ventures reminiscent of Zuffa Boxing, Power Slap and general TKO Group activities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were a small business,\u201d he told SPEED on Fox. \u201cWe began to grow the relationships with the Chuck Liddells and the Matt Hughes of the early days right as much as Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey, Cowboy Cerrone.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the list goes on and on it got to some extent where \u2013 we discuss Cowboy \u2013 this guy was all the time doing something crazy.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn order soon as he got his cheque, he was blowing it. He\u2019s buying boats, jet skis, all types of toys. But every time anything would go fallacious in these guys\u2019 personal lives we were the primary call they might make for things like that.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously it\u2019s grown and I even have completely removed myself from the negotiating a part of fighter contracts. I got to the purpose where it\u2019s just \u2018this isn\u2019t fun any more\u2019. I\u2019m lucky that I\u2019m at some extent in my life and my profession where I can just cope with the fun stuff that I prefer to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
