The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> star Dakota Mortensen<\/strong> reflected on his infamous behavior through the series premiere of Alex Cooper<\/strong>\u2018s Unwell Winter Games<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe people think that I’m a extremely bad guy,\u201d Dakota, 33, said through the Monday, April 6, episode of the YouTube series<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t feel like I’m. I believe I do some villain things here and there. Every from time to time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dakota had to reply for his behavior \u2014 reminiscent of flirting with influencer Hallie Batchelder<\/strong> \u2014 when his former costar Demi Engemann<\/strong> joined the show at the top of the episode. They joked about him already \u201cnot officially\u201d dating someone.<\/p>\n

Dakota and Demi star alongside fellow reality stars, influencers and public figures on Unwell Winter Games<\/em>, a four-episode show that \u201cbrings together 16 of probably the most polarizing figures in popular culture to compete in a series of mental and physical challenges over 4 days, filmed against the backdrop of a luxury chalet in Park City, Utah,\u201d in response to an official description.<\/p>\n

Other solid members include Love Island USA<\/em>\u2019s Huda Mustafa<\/strong>, Love Island<\/em>\u2019s Ekin Su C\u00fclc\u00fclo\u011flu<\/strong> and Eyal Booker<\/strong>, Bachelor in Paradise<\/em>\u2019s Joe Amabile<\/strong> and Serena Pitt<\/strong>, Siesta Key<\/em>\u2019s Juliette Porter<\/strong> and Dancing With the Stars<\/em>\u2019 Gleb Savchenko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

News of Dakota and Demi\u2019s involvement within the series got here amid a series of scandals for the Mormon Wives<\/em> solid \u2014 most notably a police investigation into an alleged February domestic violence incident between Dakota and his ex Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In March, Dakota was granted a short lived protective order against Taylor, 31, along with temporary custody of their son, Ever, 2, amid allegations of multiple alleged disputes between the pair. Dakota and Taylor are scheduled to seem in court for a Tuesday, April 7, hearing.<\/p>\n

Mormon Wives<\/em> halted production on season 5 of the hit reality TV series within the wake of the newest allegations. The Bachelorette<\/em> also canceled Taylor\u2019s season of the ABC reality dating series days before its March premiere. Dakota briefly spoke out in regards to the situation after a video surfaced of a 2023 altercation with Taylor through which the star could possibly be seen physically assaulting and throwing chairs at Dakota while within the presence of her daughter.<\/p>\n

(Taylor was arrested and subsequently charged with aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence within the presence of a baby, child abuse and criminal mischief. She ultimately pleaded guilty to felony aggravated assault in exchange for the dismissal of the remaining charges.)<\/p>\n

Each Dakota and Taylor have denied the recent allegations, with each issuing statements saying they’re committed to specializing in their children.<\/p>\n

Prior to the Unwell Winter Games<\/em> premiere, Taylor showed her gratitude to Demi for supporting her amid her drama with Dakota.<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks for checking in on me as much as you’ve got and for the wellness gift,\u201d Taylor responded to Demi via Instagram in March. \u201cYou and Jessi [Draper]<\/strong>, I\u2019ll always remember, didn\u2019t leave my side at my lowest.\u201d<\/p>\n
