Jean Silva to headline Hype Brazil on April 8 in clash with Marlon Vera<\/h2>\n

On April 6, Hype Brazil announced the matchup that can headline their next card on incredibly short notice.<\/p>\n

Jean Silva will tackle former UFC bantamweight title challenger Marlon Vera on April 8 in Sao Paulo in a submission only clash.<\/p>\n

Silva went to a draw with Bryce Mitchell within the promotion last month and seemingly put an end to the rivalry that surrounded their fight in 2025.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian has been hoping to make use of his win over Arnold Allen from the beginning of the 12 months to earn his first shot on the featherweight title.<\/p>\n

Marlon Vera last fought in February, where he suffered a fourth consecutive loss within the UFC\u2019s 135 pound division, meaning that he hasn\u2019t gotten his hand raised since 2023.<\/p>\n
