\n\tRiding on a high because the success of its most ambitious show in Argentina, \u201cThe Eternaut,\u201d Netflix has unveiled a brand new 20,000 sq. ft. office in Buenos Aires in addition to a strong wide-ranging slate of series, movies and documentaries from top-notch talent set to debut this 12 months and next.<\/p>\n

\n\tThat is the third, albeit smallest, latest office Netflix has opened in Latin America this 12 months. The Mexico City headquarters spans roughly 90,000 sq ft, while Netflix Brazil marked its multiple years within the country with the opening of an 88,000 sq.ft. purpose-built headquarters in S\u00e3o Paulo, with Netflix co-CEO Greg Peters flying in for the event.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn line with Ramos, the Mexico and Brazil offices are larger because they centralize key regional functions \u2013 akin to accounting, legal, and HR \u2013 that aren\u2019t duplicated across every location, allowing for greater efficiency. In contrast, the Argentina office will likely be focusing mainly on production in addition to marketing and PR.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Eternaut\u201d star Ricardo Darin returns to the massive screen as a practical psychoanalyst in \u201cLo dejamos ac\u00e1,\u201d directed by Hern\u00e1n Goldfrid (\u201cThesis on a Homicide\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n\tSpanish helmer Alex de la Iglesia (\u201cThe Bar\u201d) will direct a movie adaptation of the lauded play \u201cCongratulations\u201d with Adrian Suar and Griselda Siciliani, who each star in hit show, \u201cEnvious.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the many TV shows, \u201cEnvious\u201d will start streaming its fourth and final season on April 29. Prison drama \u201cIn The Mud\u201d drops its third season while the second season of\u00a0graphic novel adaptation \u201cThe Eternaut\u201dis in a really advanced development. Ramos didn’t rule out a 3rd season.<\/p>\n

\n\tSiciliani, Cecilia Roth and Sof\u00eda Gala Castiglione star in \u201cMoria,\u201d the fictional series inspired by the actress-TV personality diva Moria Cas\u00e1n, which is able to debut on August 14 to mark her eightieth birthday.<\/p>\n

\n\tChile\u2019s Pablo Larrain directs mini-series \u201cMy Sad Dead\u201d based on the short stories of Mariana Enriquez and starring Mercedes Mor\u00e1n (\u201cNeruda\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Pablo Trapero (\u201c& Sons\u201d) and Pablo Fendrik (\u201cDear Killer Nannies\u201d) will direct \u201cGordon,\u201d \u00a0a thriller based on the eponymous novel name by Marcelo Larraquy,\u00a0with a forged led by Rodrigo de la Serna (\u201cThe Motorcycle Diaries\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n\tNetflix can also be venturing into its first short-form series produced in Argentina, \u201cCar\u00edsima,\u201d a 10-episode series by Caro Pard\u00edaco, with each episode running 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

Primed for release later within the 12 months or next, are three latest documentaries on Argentine figures: Gustavo Cova\u2019s \u201cEmi Mart\u00ednez: The Kid Who Stops Time,\u201d about soccer star Emiliano Mart\u00ednez; \u201cFito P\u00e1ez: The World Matches in a Song,\u201d a 2026 film by Mat\u00edas Gueilburt on singer-songwriter Fito P\u00e1ez and \u201cPerfect: The Voice of Silvina Luna,\u201d a 2027 portrait of model-actress Silvina Luna.<\/p>\n
