Comedian Samay Raina has spoken out in regards to the controversy surrounding India\u2019s Got Latent, taking sharp jabs at critics, including Sunil Pal, B Praak, and Mukesh Khanna. Addressing the controversy in his latest special, Still Alive, Samay claimed that an FIR was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia. It showed him stepping outside his established image. He jokingly referred to him as \u201cthe monk who sold my Ferrari,\u201d blaming him for derailing the show.<\/p>\n
He explained, \u201cPlaying a clean character is unnatural for me,\u201d <\/em>and used his earlier Kaun Banega Crorepati anecdote to emphasize <\/em>that his humour is rooted in irreverence. \u201cEk clean banda kabhi kabhi h*rami nahi ban sakta web pe,\u201d<\/em> he added, implying that a clean persona doesn\u2019t fit the web\u2019s chaotic nature. <\/p>\n Drawing a metaphor, he said, \u201cNon-vegetarian veg kha sakta hai, vegetarian non-veg khayega ulti hi karega.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Regarding the fallout from India\u2019s Got Latent, Samay revealed that an FIR was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia for stepping outside his usual persona. \u201cHum Kashmiri cross fire me hi marte hain,\u201d <\/em>he remarked, adding, \u201cIt broke me like anything,\u201d <\/em>referring to his decision to take the show down in India. Although he tried to \u201cplay secure\u201d <\/em>by editing episodes fastidiously and interacting with panellists post-shoots.<\/p>\n Samay also took shots at critics and industry figures.
