Eddie Hall agrees with the assessment that Tom Aspinall has been \u2018hard done by\u2019 amid his ongoing feud with the UFC.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Back in October, Aspinall was poked in the attention by Ciryl Gane in the course of the primary event of UFC 321, and his first undisputed heavyweight title defense led to a controversial No Contest. Since then, he has needed to undergo a gruesome double eye surgery, and still not been medically cleared to totally spar.<\/p>\n

Hall and Aspinall are close friends, and trained together before the strongman\u2019s MMA debut last yr. And the 2017 World\u2019s Strongest Man believes that he deserves more from the UFC as their reigning heavyweight champion.<\/p>\n

Tom Aspinall has been \u2018hard done by\u2019 in UFC feud says Eddie Hall<\/h2>\n

There’s something of a chilly war happening between Tom Aspinall and the UFC in the mean time. Most notably, this resulted within the Brit signing with Eddie Hearn\u2019s latest management stable Matchroom Talent amid an ongoing bitter rivalry between the 2 promoters.<\/p>\n

And Eddie Hall, who’s a detailed friend of Aspinall\u2019s, reckons that he has needed more support from his promotion given his standing. Speaking with Bloody Elbow ahead of his pre-fight press conference with Tommy Fury, the strongman noted that his pal is now in a battle to feed his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel Tom\u2019s been hard done by needless to say,\u201d Hall explained. \u201cIt\u2019s stuff that couldn\u2019t be helped and he hasn\u2019t had much support for my part. Tom\u2019s the champion of the world and he\u2019s had that form of taken away from him through no fault of his own.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd he\u2019s going to need to step away now and rebuild that and begin again mainly. Hopefully he could make the cash and I suppose all of us fight for these titles but at the top of the day it\u2019s to place bread on the table for our families. I actually hope that Tom goes to give you the option to do this now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aspinall is now back training but cannot spar. He is anticipated to be ringside when Fury and Hall \u2013 each friends and former sparring partners of his \u2013 step in for Misfits Boxing on June 13.<\/p>\n
