Some throughout the locker room reportedly questioned the choice, believing the match didn\u2019t require an additional layer to boost it.<\/p>\n<p>It was also noted in prior reports that McAfee\u2019s involvement was directed by top executives inside TKO Group Holdings, reasonably than WWE\u2019s usual creative leadership under Triple H.<\/p>\n<p>McAfee\u2019s recent appearance on WWE SmackDown, where he delivered an unscripted promo tied to the feud, reportedly drew mixed reactions backstage.
