Daredevil Born Again Season 2 has reached its halfway mark with the discharge of episode 4 this week. This time, we finally get a transparent answer on Bullseye\u2019s motivations, as Matt and Karen proceed with their plan to reveal Mayor Fisk for the corrupt charlatan he’s. And while Fisk finally pushes back against his CIA handler, Mr. Charles, his major gambit on this episode backfires, leaving him in a desperate situation.<\/p>\n
The episode begins by showing Bullseye\u2019s morning routine and divulges that he\u2019s been living under the assumed identity of Tony. Bullseye quickly showcases his trademark bloodlust when he deliberately calls a tip line of Fisk\u2019s task force and tells them to come back to a diner as he\u2019s ordering a milkshake, just so he can kill all of them. As a terrified customer caught within the crossfire begs for his life, Bullseye reassures him that he\u2019s \u201cconsidered one of the great guys.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Matt and Karen are busy taking testimonials from Fisk\u2019s prisoners, whom they freed within the previous episode. As they\u2019re discussing the way to smuggle these videos without the duty force intercepting them, Angela del Toro offers to take Karen\u2019s SD card to her contact, BB Urich. Despite Karen\u2019s initial objections, Matt eventually allows Angela to go and reminds her that carrying her father\u2019s legacy entails significant responsibility.<\/p>\n
The 2 have one other breakthrough when Christofi Sava, the First Mate of the Northern Star, shows up and offers his testimony about who ordered him to smuggle weapons through Recent York City, making it clear that it was Fisk\u2019s doing.<\/p>\n
This episode sees Fisk finally put his foot down when the CIA\u2019s Mr. Charles once more takes him to task about his failure to follow through on the weapons smuggling job he was given. As Mr. Charles brings in his hired guns as an intimidation tactic, Fisk\u2019s triggerman, Buck Cashman, quickly guns them down, and Fisk sternly warns Charles to call next time he wants to fulfill.<\/p>\n
Fisk also has a dangerous plan to bait Bullseye out within the open. It seems that his charity boxing match isn\u2019t only a publicity stunt but a deliberate trap that he wants his murderous nemesis to walk right into.<\/p>\n
When Matt discovers this, he tracks down Bullseye to stop him from turning your entire event right into a bloodbath, but Bullseye escapes. And Fisk\u2019s own plan starts to crack when his wife, Vanessa, refuses his request to travel out of state and decides to attend his boxing match anyway. Bullseye shows up right as Fisk wins his bout and quickly cuts his way through Fisk\u2019s task force before attempting at Fisk\u2019s and Vanessa\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n
Bullseye\u2019s eventually thwarted when Vanessa shoots him, and Daredevil intervenes just in time to force him out of the venue; following that, he escapes to lick his wounds.<\/p>\n
Nonetheless, it seems that Vanessa\u2019s been critically injured within the fighting due to a bit of shrapnel lodged in her head. A horrified Fisk calls for an ambulance as his wife\u2019s life hangs within the balance, a nightmare he\u2019s been forced to relive since she\u2019d been previously poisoned in the primary season of the unique Daredevil show. While Vanessa barely made it out alive back then, just what is going to turn into of her now?<\/p>\n
