Eddie Hearn accurately predicted that two former members of his roster could be on their method to Zuffa Boxing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In February, Dana White shockingly signed Conor Benn to his recent boxing promotion in a move that caught all the sport off guard.<\/p>\n

Things didn\u2019t end well between Benn and Hearn despite their close working relationship that led to a number of success in recent times.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, two recent additions to the Zuffa Boxing roster are examples of why this move didn\u2019t come completely out of the blue.<\/p>\n

Zuffa Boxing signs Edgar Berlanga and Richardson Hitchins following Matchroom exit<\/h2>\n

On Wednesday, Zuffa Boxing announced that Edgar Berlanga and Richardson Hitchins have joined the promotion\u2019s roster.<\/p>\n

Berlanga (23-2) is a two-time NABO super middleweight champion who challenged Canelo Alvarez and got here up short in September of 2024.<\/p>\n

Hitchins (20-0) is the reigning IBF light welterweight champion, having won the belt in December 2024, before successfully defending it against George Kambosos Jr. last June.<\/p>\n

Each men were previously signed to Eddie Hearn\u2019s Matchroom Boxing and are managed by Keith Connolly, who can be an element of Conor Benn\u2019s team.<\/p>\n

In March, Hearn said on The Ariel Helwani Show<\/a> that while he won\u2019t ever rule it out, he doesn\u2019t need to work with Connolly again.<\/p>\n

Hearn previously predicted that each Berlanga and Hitchins would sign with Zuffa Boxing attributable to them becoming free agents.<\/p>\n

When Hitchins announced himself as a free agent after beating Kambosos Jr. on a Matchroom event, Hearn responded in an interview with iFL.<\/p>\n

\u201cRichardson is kid. He\u2019s just got some snakes around him, and people snakes will make you’re feeling like they\u2019re your guy,\u201d he said. \u201cBut the fact is, they\u2019re bloodsuckers.
