Based on documents obtained by TMZ<\/em><\/a> on April 8, the casino is accusing the rapper of breach of contract and fraud after he allegedly did not settle the debt tied to a credit line he opened in March 2024.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit claims that Offset agreed to permit the casino to withdraw funds directly from his account if the balance was not paid.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, when the casino attempted to gather, they allegedly found there have been insufficient funds available.<\/p>\n

The casino also stated that they’d difficulty reaching the rapper to resolve the difficulty, prompting them to maneuver forward with legal motion.<\/p>\n

In response to the lawsuit, a representative for Offset told TMZ<\/em>, \u201cWe’re working toward a resolution.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old was shot near the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on the evening of April 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As The Blast reported, his team confirmed the incident, saying, \u201cWe are able to confirm Offset was shot and is currently on the hospital receiving medical care.\u201d They added, \u201cHe’s stable and being closely monitored.\u201d<\/p>\n

Authorities also confirmed that the injuries weren’t life-threatening. Based on police, the situation unfolded outside the venue\u2019s valet area within the evening, where officers quickly responded and secured the scene.<\/p>\n

Officials stated, \u201cWe’re aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to a person who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police also confirmed that two individuals were detained and that the investigation stays ongoing, though there isn’t a ongoing threat to the general public.<\/p>\n
