Her return has excited fans, especially because it also involves Stephanie\u2019s reunion with ex-flame Malcolm Winters, who’s being reprised by Shemar Moore. During a chat with TV Insider<\/a>, Vivica revealed she was surprised when she learned The Young and the Restless wanted her back as Stephanie. And when she discovered that Shemar was also coming back as Malcolm again, she found it to be an amazingly genius storyline.<\/p>\n \u201cStephanie has a variety of secrets that can be revealed,\u201d Vivica stated after which added, \u201cThus far, it\u2019s been surprise after surprise after surprise. The audience is admittedly going to be on the sting of their chairs as Stephanie and Malcolm come back.\u201d The soap star is glad that the 2 finished their business.<\/p>\n In any case, Stephanie and Malcolm\u2019s breakup left the story unfinished in a way. Now it seems things have come full circle: with Holden introduced as their son, their ties to the canvas have grown stronger. She left town after the breakup because she desired to be the perfect doctor ever.<\/p>\n And now she has achieved that with a booming profession in Manhattan. Their romance sidetracked Stephanie from her goals back then, which is why it didn’t last. She has now completed the whole lot she wanted, but has lost her husband, Jerry Novak, who became Holden\u2019s step and adoptive father.<\/p>\n \u201cHere comes Malcolm back into her life to bring some drama,\u201d Vivica joked. There was little question in her mind about coming back on the show. \u201cThey\u2019ve just treated me so well, and it\u2019s been excellent.
