Compliance workflow automation startup Haast Pty Ltd.<\/a> said today it has raised $12 million in an early-stage round of funding to assist organizations speed up the rollout of artificial intelligence-generated content.<\/p>\n

The Series A round was led by Peak XV and saw participation from DST, Airtree, Aura Ventures and Black Sheep Capital, bringing its total amount raised to greater than $17 million thus far.<\/p>\n

Haast says it\u2019s constructing the missing infrastructure for the generative AI era with an agentic AI platform that embeds organizational risk frameworks directly into enterprise workflows. Its primarily focused on digital content<\/a>, which has been transformed by generative AI. Today, organizations can generate massive volumes of promoting copy, product descriptions, blog posts, go-to-market and sales materials with AI at almost zero cost, causing the amount of such content to surge by 10 times.<\/p>\n

The issue is that organizations still aren\u2019t publishing content any faster, since the legal and compliance processes they should undergo are still manual and very time-consuming. Based on Haast\u2019s own research, the common legal team still spends as much as 70% of its time on manual review tasks, creating a large bottleneck. To place it simply, legal teams cannot review the content at anything just like the speed it\u2019s generated.<\/p>\n

The startup says the difference between its agentic platform and various AI assistants is that it operates on the infrastructure level.
