Production banner Trimurti Movies has filed a lawsuit against filmmaker Aditya Dhar\u2019s company B62 Studios, alleging unauthorised use of the song \u2018Rang De Lal\u2019 <\/em>within the film Dhurandhar The Revenge<\/em>. The dispute pertains to the rights to the track, which originally appeared within the 1989 film Tridev<\/em>. The unique song was composed by Kalyanji-Anandji, co-composed by Viju Shah, written by Anand Bakshi and sung by Amit Kumar and Sapna Mukherjee.<\/p>\n

What the lawsuit alleges<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In accordance with sources aware of the matter, Trimurti Movies has claimed ownership or control over the relevant rights connected to the musical work and sound recording of \u2018Rang De Lal\u2019<\/em>. The corporate has alleged that the song, or a version substantially just like it, was utilized in the film without obtaining the obligatory permissions.<\/p>\n

The suit states that such use amounts to copyright infringement, including unauthorised reproduction and communication of the work to the general public.<\/p>\n

Trimurti Movies has sought an injunction to restrain further use of the song, together with damages and related reliefs. The production house has also raised concerns in regards to the industrial exploitation of the track through theatrical screenings, streaming platforms and promotional material linked to the film.<\/p>\n
