Liverpool aren’t planning to sack Arne Slot and need him in place for the beginning of next season, based on reports.<\/p>\n

Slot guided Liverpool to the Premier League title in his first season at Anfield having replaced Jurgen Klopp in 2024.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Liverpool have put up a woeful defence of their Premier League title and currently sit fifth within the table, only one point ahead of sixth-placed Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Liverpool even have a mountain to climb to be able to reach the Champions League semi-final following their 2-0 defeat away to Paris Saint-Germain in the primary leg of their quarter-final on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, The Telegraph<\/a> reports that Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group imagine that Slot \u2018deserves\u2019 to stay in charge for the beginning of next season.<\/p>\n

The report adds that Liverpool\u2019s hierarchy feel that Slot needs 4 transfer windows before making a call over his future.<\/p>\n

Liverpool are also said to have remained mindful of Alonso\u2019s decision to reject a move to Anfield in 2024 when he was regarded as a substitute for Klopp.<\/p>\n
