D\u00edaz-Canel confirmed that the country was in talks with the U.S.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese \u200ctalks have been aimed toward finding solutions through dialogue to the bilateral differences we have now between the 2 nations,\u201d D\u00edaz-Canel said in a video aired on state television, adding that he hoped the negotiations would move the adversaries \u201caway from confrontation.\u201d<\/p>\n
Oscar P\u00e9rez-Oliva Fraga, Cuba\u2019s deputy prime minister, said in an interview in Havana that \u201cCuba is open to having a fluid business relationship with U.S. corporations\u201d and \u201calso with Cubans residing in america and their descendants.\u201d<\/p>\n
