Anthony Joshua has explained his awkward post-fight encounter with Tyson Fury.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Turki Alalshikh suggested he\u2019d announce the largest fight in British boxing history before Tyson Fury\u2019s comeback bout. <\/p>\n

Post-fight, the Saudi boxing chief urged Fury to call out Anthony Joshua, who was sitting at ringside.<\/p>\n

\u201cNext, I wanna provide you with the fight you\u2019ve all been waiting for,\u201d the 37-year-old said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI would like you, AJ. Anthony Joshua, let\u2019s give the fight fans what they need.<\/p>\n

\u201cI challenge you, Anthony Joshua, to fight me, \u2018The Gypsy King\u2019, next. <\/p>\n

\u201cDo you accept my challenge?\u201d<\/p>\n

Joshua\u2019s non-committal response to the decision out sparked a clumsy clash with Fury. <\/p>\n

\u201cTyson, you\u2019re a clout chaser. You ain\u2019t gonna tell me what to do,\u201d he replied. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never had no problem getting within the ring with you. I punched you out after we were kids, and after watching you here tonight, I\u2019ll punch you out again.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou understand I\u2019ll sit across that ring with you in due time. You ain\u2019t gonna tell me what to do. I\u2019ve been chasing you for the past 10 years. If you\u2019re ready, you come and see me and tell me your terms and conditions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll have you ever within the ring after I\u2019m ready. I\u2019m the boss, keep in mind that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Why Anthony Joshua is hesitant to say Tyson Fury is next<\/h2>\n

Anthony Joshua hopes he\u2019ll fight Tyson Fury next, but is cautious about fully committing to the matchup resulting from their long history. <\/p>\n

The previous two-time heavyweight world champion has tried and didn’t fight Fury for the past 10 years. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna be completely honest, there’s a negotiation that you just undergo,\u201d Joshua told Netflix immediately after his confrontation with Fury.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve sat at this table with him again and again. In my heart, I\u2019ll fight Tyson Fury tomorrow, especially after watching that. I\u2019m not here to get clout, I\u2019m here to fight. Contracts shall be sent over, we\u2019ll go over the nitty-gritty, and also you\u2019ll probably see us within the ring next, greater than likely.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf he\u2019s serious, you\u2019ll see him within the ring. I\u2019m a really serious person. You\u2019ll see me within the ring 100%, whether it\u2019s against him or not. The ball shall be in his court.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce my name and signature are on the dotted line, then it\u2019s a fight. There isn’t any fight without delay. Until that first bell goes, there is no such thing as a fight. I\u2019ve been here three or 4 times with Tyson and [Deontay] Wilder. It\u2019s boring to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
