Paulo Costa and President Donald Trump got very friendly at cageside after the Brazilian\u2019s stunning win in Miami on Saturday night.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The previous middleweight title contender made the everlasting move to light-heavyweight within the co-main event of UFC 327, and looked a distinct man with the additional 20lb on his frame. He scored a shocking third round knockout of the unbeaten Azamat Murzakanov to announce himself as a contender.<\/p>\n

But what captured the eye of fans was his moment after the fight when he jumped the cage in an effort to shake hands with President Trump. The pair shook hands and appeared to have a conversation, with full details emerging after the very fact.<\/p>\n

Paulo Costa and President Donald Trump share strange moment after UFC 327<\/h2>\n

The very first thing that Paulo Costa did after scoring an enormous knockout win at UFC 327 was to get in front of Donald Trump. He shook hands with the President, with the pair sharing a comparatively lengthy conversation.<\/p>\n

Recent footage has revealed that Costa thanked the President for the vague act of \u2018what he’s doing\u2019. And things got weird when Trump replied that \u201cYou\u2019re a lovely guy and a fantastic fighter.\u201d Costa continued to talk to the President, but with English as his second language he was hard to grasp.<\/p>\n

Clearly the President heard Costa use the word model, and jokingly told him: \u201cYou might be a model you look so good. You\u2019re too good trying to be a fighter, you’re some fighter. Thanks, man.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the event, Costa was asked in regards to the meeting and giggled, telling media \u201cIt was so funny, thanks Mr Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI just type of jokingly talked to him,\u201d he added. \u201cThen I just said some things that were personal, so let\u2019s just keep it a secret for now. It was just between us.\u201d<\/p>\n
