The Pitt<\/em> forged has not shied away from reacting to losing a few of their very own as multiple actors leave the show.<\/p>\n

HBO Max\u2019s hit series, which premiered in January 2025, follows a bunch of employees at a fictional Pittsburgh hospital\u2019s ER working a single 15-hour shift. The series is led by Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle<\/strong>), Dr. Langdon (Patrick Ball<\/strong>), Dana (Katherine LaNasa<\/strong>), Dr. Mohan (Supriya Ganesh<\/strong>), Dr. McKay (Fiona Dourif<\/strong>), Dr. King (Taylor Dearden<\/strong>), Dr. Santos (Isa Briones<\/strong>), Dr. Whitaker (Gerran Howell<\/strong>) and Javadi (Shabana Azeez<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

While season 1 got viewers invested within the important forged, quite a few stars have since left the show. Tracy Ifeachor didn\u2019t return as Heather Collins in season 2, with a source telling Us Weekly<\/em> in July 2025 that it was at all times the plan for her character \u2014 who was a fourth-year resident \u2014 to go on and be a physician in future installments of the show.<\/p>\n

After Tracy Ifeachor\u2019s exit, Wyle told Deadline that her departure got here right down to the story being told on the show, adding in July 2025, \u201cI mean, we\u2019ve all been form of amused on the speculation about what everybody thinks could be a reason. But truthfully, she loved the actress. We enjoyed having her with us very much. She\u2019s gotten really big, and we’ll miss her.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor reacted to the news of Supriya Ganesh\u2019s exit, telling Gold Derby in April 2026, \u201cI can\u2019t really comment because I don\u2019t really know exactly what\u2019s happening there, but he\u2019s obviously disenchanted. I\u2019m disenchanted just for this reason dynamic [and] this relationship that they’ve \u2026 the writers teased these moments throughout season 1 and we explored it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The duo told People in July 2025 that Tracy Ifeachor\u2019s exit was \u201cbuilt into the character from the get-go.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe at all times had a plan for that form of trajectory for that character. The show is ready in a teaching hospital. People come and go on a regular basis,\u201d Gemmill said.<\/p>\n
