Teenagers run in fear after their former classmate burst into school armed with a shotgun and commenced firing randomly.<\/p>\n
The 18-year-old gunman, who was recently expelled, wounded not less than 16 people before killing himself in Turkey.<\/p>\n
Armed with a shotgun, he opened fire on anyone he could see at a vocational highschool in Siverek within the province of Sanliurfa, before hiding contained in the constructing.<\/p>\n
CCTV captures the moment his victims were shot, others are forced to flee right past him as others slam doors to get away.<\/p>\n
He later killed himself with the identical shotgun after being \u2018cornered by police\u2019, governor Hasan Sildak said.<\/p>\n\n

The attack left 10 students, 4 teachers, a canteen worker and a police officer wounded, Mr Sildak said.<\/p>\n
While most of them were being treated in Siverek, five of the wounded teachers and students were transferred to a hospital within the provincial capital because their conditions were more serious, the governor said.<\/p>\n
The motive stays unclear. School shootings are rare in Turkey.<\/p>\n
The attacker didn’t have a criminal record, Mr Sildak said. The varsity had been declared secure and no everlasting police officer was assigned to guard it, he added, calling the shooting an \u2018isolated incident\u2019.<\/p>\n\n

NTV television and other media reports said the assailant had threatened an attack on the varsity on social media prior to the shooting.<\/p>\n
One student told the state-run Anadolu Agency that he and a friend jumped out of their classroom window to flee the attacker.<\/p>\n
\u2018He suddenly entered the classroom and fired. He fired 4 or five times. Two people were hit. He then went into the following classroom,\u2019 Anadolu quoted the scholar as saying. \u2018We first threw ourselves to the bottom after which two of us jumped out of the window.\u2019<\/p>\n
The scholar added: \u2018He didn\u2019t say anything, he entered and commenced to shoot directly.\u2019<\/p>\n
Earlier, media reports said all students were evacuated and police special operations units were deployed after the assailant refused to give up.<\/p>\n
\u2018The person was cornered contained in the constructing through police intervention and died after shooting himself,\u2019 Mr Sildak told reporters, adding that a \u2018comprehensive\u2019 investigation into the shooting could be carried out.<\/p>\n
