Ahead of the film\u2019s twenty fifth anniversary, Selma<\/strong> Blair<\/strong> is reflecting on among the memorable red carpet looks she wore throughout the press run for Legally Blonde<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember styling myself only, like, it never occurred to me to have a stylist,\u201d Blair, 53, exclusively told Us<\/em> Weekly<\/em>. \u201cI do keep in mind that about that point, I just liked something, and I\u2019d go to the shop and I\u2019d buy it, or go to the shop and be like, \u2018Hi, are you able to dress me?\u2019 It was just a special time. I believed it was wild when people put makeup on for [a] premiere or style it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blair continued, \u201cThat\u2019s a young girl\u2019s idea, though, since you realize five years later, I want makeup. I did makeup for that premiere and I used to be like, \u2018Oh my gosh, such an enormous deal.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Blair donned a red and navy striped halter dress to the Los Angeles premiere of the enduring Reese<\/strong> Witherspoon<\/strong>-led film in June 2001. She wore a black Ralph<\/strong> Lauren<\/strong> dress to the premiere in Southampton, Recent York, the next month.<\/p>\n

Blair noted how much things have modified since those days, especially relating to fashion.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone has a stylist. Crazy. You don\u2019t even get to maintain the garments,\u201d Blair said. \u201cWell, like a gown, that\u2019s why you get a stylist or else I\u2019d give you the chance to afford to enter a store and buy the robe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blair told Us<\/em> that she has held on to some things from the Legally Blonde<\/em> set.<\/p>\n

\u201cI held on an extended time to my wardrobe from Legally Blonde<\/em> and Sweetest Thing<\/em>,\u201d Blair admitted. \u201cI didn\u2019t keep any from Cruel<\/em> Intentions<\/em>. But what I did, so stupidly, I gave it to individuals who were fans, or gave it to kids or teenagers that were, like, going through something that I met through years. So yeah, I don\u2019t have any of it. I actually have one beret that\u2019s like, beaded, but it surely\u2019s advantageous. I actually have moths every occasionally in my closet, so it\u2019s just as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

A current wardrobe staple for Blair is a bed jacket. She recently partnered with Kansas-city based lifestyle brand MERSEA<\/a> to create the limited-edition pajama capsule collection, Sea La Vie, that \u201ccelebrates sleepwear as a contemporary self-care ritual.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI met this excellent woman-owned business years ago, after I was really not doing great with MS,\u201d said Blair, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018. \u201cI used to be in bed lots, and I got this beautiful care package, and it made such an impression on me, and I obviously enjoyed it a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBed is something that I\u2019m in lots,\u201d Blair said. \u201cSo now I actually have more pajamas than the typical bear, and I couldn\u2019t be more thrilled. But I could also throw on my bed jacket and exit and look really, really chic.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the gathering, which dropped Tuesday, April 14, Blair designed The Molly Bedcoat, with the assistance of the MERSEA team, which partially, pays tribute to her mother.<\/p>\n
