On April 15, adding to the festive cheer of Poila Baisakh and Vishu, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa\u2019s maiden production enterprise, Toaster<\/em>, premieres on Netflix. The film\u2019s quirky and intriguing trailer has already given audiences a taste of its offbeat world and has succeeded in generating considerable curiosity. At first glance, one might assume that the narrative revolves chiefly around Rajkummar Rao\u2019s hilariously miserly character and Sanya Malhotra\u2019s presence within the chaotic setup. Nevertheless, that is barely one a part of the film\u2019s larger comic design. Going by the recent trend of surprise appearances and unexpected casting twists, Toaster<\/em> seems to have greater than just a few delightful tricks up its sleeve.<\/p>\n

A source told Bollywood Hungama<\/strong><\/em>, \u201cPratik Gandhi appears in a scene within the film. That\u2019s not all. Patralekhaa, the producer of the film and in addition Rajkummar Rao\u2019s real-life wife, will probably be seen in a scene within the film. Each of them, together with Farah Khan, further add to the madness.\u201d With these special appearances, Toaster<\/em> guarantees an additional dose of unpredictability and fun.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Hindustan Times in February 2025, Patralekhaa said, \u201cMoving into production is an organic extension of my love for storytelling. I desired to create an area where inspiring stories could thrive. Raj and I even have at all times been keen about cinema, and thru production we hope to champion stories we genuinely imagine in. One among my motivations was to bring to life the type of stories I would like to see on screen.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also confessed, \u201cAs an actor, you\u2019re focused in your performance, but as a producer, you\u2019re liable for every little thing from script development to execution\u2026Raj and I even have at all times had a terrific skilled understanding, and this project only reinforced that. He has been incredibly supportive of my transition into production.\u201d<\/p>\n
